SAT Score vs Population
This section finds our analysis on if the population of a school
affects the SAT Score.
We found that there is a moderate correlation between school size and SAT score. The R-value between school size and SAT score is 0.541242562 and the p-value of school size and SAT scores was 0.704565529. The p-value between these two variables is significantly higher than the critical p-value of 0.05. That means we fail to reject the null hypothesis and that any relationship between SAT scores and school size is due to random chance. This is likely because school size doesn’t drastically affect the amount of resources a school has under its disposal compared to other factors.
